Toot Your Horn Tuesday
Toot Your Horn Tuesday is a joyful school tradition where each week the admin team surprises a staff member with a cheerful classroom visit to recognize their impact and celebrate their work. It’s a quick, meaningful way to build community, boost morale, and make recognition fun again.

How it Works
Each week, choose one staff member to celebrate, grab your party horns, and surprise them with a quick classroom shout-out. Capture the moment to share or display, and use the checklist to ensure everyone gets their turn. Includes leader directions, a printable sign, editable checklist, student ambassador ideas, and pro tips to keep celebrations consistent and fun.
Educator Collaboration
This resource was created in collaboration with dedicated educators and school leaders. Special thanks to Principal Maggie Walton of Granbury ISD, Texas, whose Toot Your Horn Tuesday tradition inspired this idea and shows how joyful, consistent recognition can strengthen connection, boost morale, and celebrate the amazing work happening across every school.
