Each day, leaders select a staff member using a themed system and plan a quick, informal check-in. You’ll find clear directions, theme ideas, leader tips, and printables to support ongoing staff engagement and relationship-building.

This resource was created in collaboration with dedicated educators and school leaders. Special thanks to Paula, Assistant Principal of Early Learning at Brook Village Early Childhood Center in Wichita Falls, Texas, whose “Gone Fishing” routine inspired this idea and shows how intentional staff check-ins can strengthen relationships and school culture.
