interest in listing an alpaca in our on-line auction. Upcoming Auction Dates - The quality of the alpaca in our selection process is first and foremost in our minds - whether from a larger farm or a small farm, your alpaca can be considered for our auctions. From time to time, we offer private association or farm/ranch auctions. Contact us for more information on hosting your auction soon!
Submitting Your Alpaca(s) for consideration in upcoming auctions - If you are interested in submitting an alpaca for consideration in the next upcoming on-line auction, please contact info@getalpaca.com with your farm/ranch contact information and the following information regarding the alpaca(s) you are submitting. Limit of two alpacas per farm/ranch may be submitted for consideration per auction unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Remember - submit only alpacas of high quality! Only unique alpacas will be chosen for the auction. You will be required to submit the following:
If your alpaca(s) is(are) selected, you will have to agree to the following terms - provide full farm guarantees and live birth guarantees for up to 10-days; provide for free transportation for the alpaca purchased anywhere in the continental U.S.; provide a minimum of 30 days free board for the alpaca (mom and cria if needed); provide a discounted or stud service with each maiden female purchased and agree to possible financing terms for the sale of the alpaca(s). Only farms/ranches with superior pre-post customer support need apply. Once you agree to the terms, your alpaca can only be released from the auction for a valid medical reason.
As a service to our customers, preference and discounts may be given to those farms/ranches who have purchased breeding stock from either Chase Tavern Farm . However, only alpacas with high marketability and diversity will be accepted. You will only be charged a listing fee and NO COMMISSION will be taken. Listings fees may vary based on auction description and your status with the hosting organization. Listing fee must be received before auction begins or your alpaca(s) will be removed from the auction and replaced with others. Listing fee is required whether alpaca sells or not. Advertising in the form of emails, print flyers or mailers and any other marketing expenses will not be additional to your listing fee. If you are a customer of Chase Tavern Farm who has purchased breeding stock, your listing fee will be half the advertised rate.
